Mine must be unlocked...By rain that is!! There are plenty of fossils in them hills but they need to let mother nature expose them. Still with that being said on Sunday I made my spring trip into the famous Lee Creek mine and had a great time. Nothing spectacular was found by me...but a lady from France found a beautiful meg. Looked to be a huge posterior in perfect condition!!
I managed a 3.5" reworked meg and a decent 2 5/8" mako along with some really nice verts. One of my favorite teeth of this trip however was one of my smallest. It was my smallest mini meg to date. A perfect tooth that looks to be a juvenile meg...cool find!
Thanks to PCS phosphate, George, Pat and the crew. As always this is my favorite fossil adventure of the year!
