Sorry Mason, I dont think thats a hooked tooth Mako. I think thats just a broad tooth mako (Isurus Hastalis). Its a nice tooth though!

I agree with Mike, you got yourself a nice upper I. hastalis. I have lots of mako's just like that one. Check out a mako a firned of mine found at Lee Creek years ago: http://www.ecphora.net/mgs/gallery05.htm scroll down near the bottom of that page to see a really "hooked" or curved mako. My guess is that it's a lateral. I have a few of these from the cliffs.

thanks guys, like i said out of all the makos i have that one just seemed different from all the other hastalis teeth, thanks for the input,

Yeah I have a few as well that really really make me question whether or not they are hooked makos but unfortunately I always side with the Hastalis.
