Bring on the wind... Bring on the rain!!The last nor’easter that came thru here really helped out my fossil collection. I was working nights at the time and got off at 7am every morning. PERFECT time to walk the beach. I beat the other people out there every day which means I got some of the bigger teeth that I normally missed out on. I’m including some pics of many of the teeth I found over a two month period of walking the beach. Some of the more exciting finds for me was a seal molar that I posted in the forum section along with a seal lower jaw (unassociated). I also found several VERY nice and complete Makos, but the 3.3” Mako I found took the prize!! I still can’t believe I found that tooth. I’ve never really found nice complete megs on my beach, until the past two weeks. In that time period I found a 3”, 3.5”, and 4” meg. All are complete (for the most part). This has been an awesome two months for me, and I’m so glad to have this hobby. Thanks DW for allowing me to share my finds with everyone.

Here are some other Makos I found. The only one that is from a previous trip report is the 3rd tooth from the right on the bottom. |
