I'll take second place anyday

I arrived pretty early to this particular ditch, but not early enough.  Even though there was at least one set of foot prints, I pressed on in the hopes that something was missed.  For the most part I found a lot of broken teeth, though some were a decent size.  Then I spotted a 2 1/4" angy with great color and lightning.  This one also has more curve (see side picture) than any of my other angys.  This alone made my battling the heat and mosquitoes well worth it.  The first person(s) to the ditch must have really made out, but I'll take second place anyday if it means finding any angy like this each time.  Then, on the way out, I spotted another smaller but perfect angy with less lightning, but great color never-the-less.  I found an assortment of teeth and vert some of which were too battered to make it in the picture.  Overall a great morning.
