Operation Axl Take Me Down to Artifact City, Where the....
Teeth are choice and the potsherds are, a’plenty.....Axl may not be impressed, but me DW and Weezling’s accumulation of fossils and artifacts will result in paleo-shock and awe! Operation Axl I dubbed this trip…the spot had produced nice finds when DW and Weezling swam upon this great aqueous treasure trove; but alas, it had not been properly fanned. The conditions were as ripe as a peach on a window sill: Incident solar radiation at maximum, the average kinetic energy of the atmospheric particles approximately 311K and an atmospheric pressure of 101.32 KPa. The ACE basin river particle’s average kinetic energy was an estimated (using a SWAG) 542R. The viso was approximately 1.83E10 angstroms. Pretty sweet! These conditions gave us BRFC-ers an Appetite for Collecting; Operation Axl was underway!
Weezling struck first with a cherry 4” angy; I was bagging angys left and right on a gravel bed piled up against a fallen tree. The gravel bed was at least .0015 furlongs thick at this spot! As the teeth swam into my bag, DW called us down to Artifact city centrum to witness the hydro-removal of a killer spear-tip. I swam back to my area and fanned out a large potsherd and several artifacts. Weezling bagged another 4” angy to complete the deuce! Other deuces were had as well..halocene variety...
After about .015 fornights of continuous collecting, we gathered our collective goodie bags and nearly sank the boat…the amount of fossils and artifacts was staggering; worthy of Billy grub-fest at Moes!
