GMR spearpointThis beauty appeared in my screen mid-morning on February 18. A "trip maker" for sure !
Brad obtained the following information from Mr. Williams: "The point is known as a Bolen. There are two types; plain and beveled. This looks as though it might be the plain. They date at around 6000 BC. They are found mostly in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. It is rather rare to find one in our state. By looking at the picture it probably is made of rhyolite."
