Old finds

I found these a few weeks ago. I wasn't sure what they were, I thought they where pretty cool so I put them in my pocket. I sent the pics over to another BRF member and he told me they where dermal scutes from a stingray. Mystery solved with a little help from my friends. It's nice to have so many experienced collectors just a click away. I have a lot to learn when it comes to fossil identification. So if I ever post a pic of a rock just smile and nod, I'll figure it out one day.

Happy hunting DBTB.
