I had off today and hit the beach around noon. It was windy and cold with flurries on and off. The dog and I walked and walked in search of one nice tooth. I found a few teeth but the tide was coming in fast. Feet and hands numb I trudged down the beach. Then I saw it lying in some shells at the edge of the waves. I remember saying out loud "that’s awesome" and snatching it up. Having forgotten all about my cold hands and with fresh case of permagrin I poked around a little longer and then headed home. That cow shark tooth is only the second I've found so it made for an exciting trip. Today is my birthday and I'm happy I could share it all with you. Good times.
