I'm not real familiar with the Surry location, but I think the small tooth to the far right in the second pic might be a very uncommon/rare Sandbar shark tooth (Carcharhinus plumbeus). You can compare it to the Sandbar teeth on elasmo.com under the Lee Creek (sharks II) section to see if yours fits the description. Daryl.

i am just wanting to get started with fossil hunting in surry. i have a spot just south of the ferry. is that a good spot to start? also any insight would be great. can you also find prehistoric items in the clay or mud cliffs that border the river?
