It’s been storming all weekend and finally I got a brake. I drove out to Surry County after work with only an hour of light hoping to catch the tide. The tide was really really high the waves where breaking up against the cliffs, I walked for thirty minutes before I found a small tooth. I was about to turn around and head home then I saw it a perfect 2 1/4'' Mako poking out the sand. Only the root was exposed but I knew it had some size to it. I was on gravy mode after that, I found a few more teeth and headed home. I am off all day tomorrow and will be on the beach at sun up. Hopefully this was just the appetizer.
