Oligocene Parotodus benedeniThis is only the third complete Parotodus I have from the Edisto. These teeth are older than the larger specimens more normally attributed to SC rivers because of their origin in the Oligocene when the species didn't grow quite as large. Sometimes the Oligocene variety has cusps, but this one doesn't.
