Aurora Cow Shark Tooth
I found this Aurora Cow Shark tooth in the footprints of another collector. Surely they would have picked up this tooth had they seen it. They must have been looking for a big megalodon sitting out in the open and just missed it. Anytime people ask my advice how to find the big shark teeth in Aurora, I always tell them to look for the little ones. Its easy to see a big tooth sitting out in the open, but how often do you see that anymore? Almost never! Most are only barely exposed, and if you're looking for small stuff, you'll notice the big stuff. It never ceases to amaze me the stuff I find that way.
