15/16" Cow Shark Tooth

One of my goals every time I go to Aurora is to find a nice Cow shark tooth since we don't find many of them here in Summerville, SC, where I live. This is a little gem that fulfilled that hope for me on my fall 2003 trip to Aurora, NC.
Location Lee Creek Mine, Aurora, North Carolina, USA
Species Notorynchus primigenius
Age Miocene Epoch
Formation Pungo Formation
Category Shark Teeth
Length 15/16 inches

ID1195
Memberdw
Date Added9/28/2003

Everytime I see one of these on the ground, I think its cool. I just don't see it that much.
