Isurus Praecursor Shark Tooth

This is the first tooth of any size that I found today. I saw it from 10 feet away when the sun shined off it.
Location Dorchester County, South Carolina, USA
Species Isurus praecursor
Age Eocene Epoch
Formation Green Cap Formation
Category Shark Teeth
Length 1 5/8 inches

ID1664
Memberdw
Date Added1/22/2006

This was stuck in a giant boulder of limestone when I found it. Luckily it wasn't cemented in, else it would still be there.
