1 1/2" Auriculatus Shark Tooth

I shaved a little bit of the root off this one I'm just so glad I didn't destroy it with the shovel. The cusps on this thing are really big for a small ric and every serration is intact including the rare tip serration something you never see on most rics that is shown better in the close up picture.
Location Dorchester County, South Carolina, USA
Species Carcharocles auriculatus
Age Eocene Epoch
Formation Green Cap Formation
Category Shark Teeth
Length 1 1/2 inches

ID843
Membert$
Date Added10/18/2003

An almost perfect little gem.
The very tip serration is really big and not one part of it is worn.
