surf and teeth

Toofles has contacted me a couple of times to go diving with him at Venice beach, but seems I always have something else planned when he's down. Luckily this time I was able to fit in a tank with him  After a little confusion on my part on where to meet  we got my gear loaded up and headed out. The water was flat calm and the visibility was awesome 20'+. The water temp is still a little chilly, it was 68 at the top but around 60 at the bottom.
After about 20 min I was getting cold and wasn't finding much so I decided to come up off the bottom a few feet and move faster to cover more ground. I came across a patch of bottom with alot of bone, so I slowed down  and dropped in closer for a look.  As soon as I did that I seen the root of the tooth sticking out.. I didn't expect it to be whole but it was. I scanned the rest of the area, but didn't find anything except nice flounder. I pulled out my knife and stuck him to the ground.   The cold was getting to me , so I headed back to the boat.  A nice tooth and lunch, not a bad day, thanks Toofless
