Rhyolite Projectiles

Some recent projectile finds.

E-mailed pix to our "local expert", Mr. Warner Williams, who helped with the identification.    Due to the number of e-mails he recieves concerning his hobby, Mr. Williams requested I remove his e-mail from this posting;  however, would assist any BRF member with any projectile identification.  Feel free to contact me with inquiries.

black rhyolite projectile Kirk fractured base Early to Middle Archaic Period (6,500 B.C.) found in back yard by wife... High Point, NC
two green rhyolite projectiles One is a Pee Dee pentagonal point both date from the Woodland time period (500 to 700 A.D.) Found in Jamestown, NC along a creek while morel (mushroom) hunting last spring.
