Pay-Gravel!!The seeming eternity of the past two and a half weeks ended today as I was able to get out and continue working the area that produced the relatively high number of partial chubutensis teeth on the last outing. The long wait turned out to be well worth it as the stream yielded not only one, but two really nice chubbys, either one of which would have made the day and then some. Other nice finds included a couple of makos and a thresher tooth. The head scratcher of the day was an approx. 1/3 complete tooth which displays a well defined bourlette-like groove, a hint of a second cusplet and no serrations. The edge seems too sharp to be stream worn which leads me to believe it's an Otodus.
