back to my churchServices ran long on Saturday and I got lucky and ran into a little pocket of pretty nice chubs. I even got 2 posteriors which I almost never find from the site. The area really didn't seem that productive, but it ended up being a good day even though I thought it was going to be a real slow one when I started. I even pulled out half of a 3.25" chub, and I was just relieved to see that it was already broken millions of years before my shovel could do the same job much more easily. To top things off, just as I was about to call it a day I pulled out what I believe is some sort of land mammal astralagus which is pretty neat. Sunday services were much shorter because I was exhausted from Saturday's dig, but I started off where I had left things on Saturday with another nice little chub and some makos. But my day and weekend was made fairly early when the perfect rhino tooth found its way onto my shovel!
