Unidentified Fish Vertebrae

This fish vertebrae has a very unusual shape and I think it may have been part of the skull. I am not sure of the actual age, but if I had to guess on an approximate age range it would be between Mid-Miocene and Early Pleistocene.

In this photo you can clearly see that it is a vertebrae of some sort.
