Christmas in MarchAny oppurtunity to collect at PCS is always welcome , no matter if it's at the beginning of the season or the end. Although the opportunity to collect the opening weekend is always sweeter. When I got to the parking lot and found out that they expanded the collecting area to almost the whole pit, I couldn't get on the bus fast enough. On the bus ride over I just happened to sit behind scubapaul. Luckily he had his name on the back his hardhat or I wouldn't of had the pleasure of meeting him. On the way over they let us know that we were going in on the opposite side of the previous days group. Which meant that we were going in on the side that hasn't been collected on in 2yrs! When we got off the bus I was ready, but wait, we had to wait for the bus to go back and pick up more people. I felt like a kid on christmas waiting for his parents to wake up to open the presents. The thought of all those teeth sitting up on their pedestals was almost to much to take. The bus finally arrived and we were off. As we started down the ramp I eyed up the nearest pile and headed to it. It looked to have a good mix of formations but better yet it didn't have any footprints. A quick scan of the area yielded me a nice 2-3/4 chub and a nice set of associated dolphin verts. What a way to start the day! I tried to cover alot of ground the rest of the day and made it back to same pile I started on about with about 40min left before I had to catch the 2pm bus. There was a small area near where I found the chub that missed in the morning so I decided to check it out. Another quick scan and another nice tooth, this time a 3-1/2 meg and 3 mako's! Now it was back to the bus where I got to meet m4. From beginning to end just an awesome day!
