Another first time trip to PCS Lee Creek Mine

The day finally arrived. My hunting pardners, Sharkdentist and Ozzy Rules shared the excitement of being here for the first time. The view from the top of the ramp is awesome. Now the work begins, where to start looking in a landscape that looks like a small version of the Rocky Mountains.

After walking and looking, I began to get an idea to what was Yorktown and Pungo. A small Alopias latidens was one of my first teeth , soon after a nice sandtiger and a lower catticus. The rest of the day was spent walking th far hills collecting whale verts and bones.

Thanks to PCS to allow this unique opportunity to collect and our guides Pat and BJ and George for all their help and encouragement
