4/4/09 My first trip into the mine.

First off I would like to thank PCS for giving us the opportunity to hunt at the mine.

Thanks to the guides and the museum for their help and support.  This was my first time into the mine and all I can say is wow. I had so much fun!! I got to meet a few BRF members, I found my first whale tooth, my first Chub and the prettiest Mako you ever seen, it’s so blue it’s almost purple and SHARP! I also found my first puffer jaw and teeth.

I could have sat in one spot and found hundreds of micro teeth but instead tried to cover as much ground as possible bouncing from hill to hill in search of the big one. I was a little too excited surrounded by what I can only describe as the most productive mix of Yorkpung I have ever seen. At least I got the shock and awe out of my system. I’m going again on the 19th and this time I’m going to take it nice and slow.

Thanks again to everyone who made this trip possible for me, Jake
