Lee Creek 4-15-07.

I went, I saw, I picked up some coral. This was the absolute worst Lee Creek trip I have has so far, and I started going in the mine in the late 1980"s. It was very dry in the quarry and I was told there hadn't been much rain for several weeks. There were footprints everywhere and even the Pungo was sparce. I got several dozen small Pungo teeth including a pair of Alopias, and two Yorktown teeth, one Carcharhinus and one Galeocerdo cuvier. Today it's monsoon season in Aurora and the next group in should find some nice teeth. The largest meg I saw found on this trip was under two inches. Maybe next time.
