Fossil Snail Shell and Hammerhead Shark Tooth

This is a nice matrix piece with a killer wendletrap right next to a really nice hammerhead shark tooth. Shark's teeth are pretty rare in the Ashley Formation (the name of the formation from which this matrix was removed) while shell material is a little more abundant. When I found this shell, it was barely exposed and I didn't even know about the shark tooth until I was removing material to fully expose the shell. Cool find!
