Rain... Fossil Hunting... You know the drill

Here's another old post. I'm like 3 rains behind now. So much good fossil hunting, so little time to write about fossil hunting. Given the option, I'm sure everyone as die hard as myself would make the same decision. Anyway, sometime in April, a good rain out at the pond washed out quite a few teeth on the fields of flattened layer. I was the first to hit it so I pulled out a bunch of teeth. By far the coolest fossil was the pathologic angustidens tooth. Man, its killer. Twisted, mangled, deformed. It sits up on its root, which is flattened like some kind of hoof.
