The Drenching

I was sitting at home working on a fine saturday afternoon, much like every other saturday of recent when a storm rolled in that was so heavy that I snapped back into my senses, and at that moment my thoughts became lucid and I immediately turned off my laptop and changed into my pit gear. I was going out in the middle of the storm to brave the torrents in the name of teeth. When I arrived at the spot, I was the only one there so I began hunting with a vengence in hopes of finding a killer before the crowds showed up and I had to share my hunting grounds. All afternoon I expected someone else to show up, but they never did. I was to harvest the fields of fossils all by myself. I walked the newly buried sewer lines in absolute amazement of the amount of gravel exposed. It was the wrong type for anything big, but it was great for little teeth. I ended the day with a bag full of teeth, glad that I had beckoned the call.
