Back To Farming Rics Again!

A few years ago when I first started going to the quarry I would find a whole auriculatus every trip, which was about three years ago. Yeah, I know it’s a long time to go without finding a descent whole auriculatus. This time my luck would change.

The morning started off great with DW passing me by on the interstate on the way to the quarry. He also made some funny obscene hand gestures as he passed me by. I think it may have hurt his toothing mojo because when I asked him later that day if he had found anything nice. He showed me a ric that he dug out and said it broke in two when he found it, but we all know what really happened . I’m not sure if he found anything nice afterwards though. Rivrdigr was also hanging around as well. I was picking up teeth nonstop all through out the day. About an hour before time was up I started digging. It wasn’t until exactly one minute before time was up that I would dig out a 3 inch+ auriculatus. It’s not super hero quality, but I’m happy because most of it is there. My little brother found two shamer rics pictured below. The black colored one he broke with his shovel on accident and the lighter colored one just makes you want to cry. He didn’t break that one though and it has a perfect tip too!

This is probably the most teeth that I’ve found in one quarry trip to date.
My little brother's shamer rics. The largest measures 2 15/16".
