Return to the Snake Infested Creek

Well I got another day off and figured I hit a Nice Meg last time so why not see if my luck will continue. I gathered my fossil tools of the trade and I was off and headed to the creek where I encountered that huge slithery creature last time. I arrived anxious and ready to dig and proceeded to scout the area. The area had dried up since last time even with the showers we had last week. I looked over the area for snakes near where I had dug a few weeks before. None!! I then decided...Mmmm... why not dig the exact place I dug before and see if I could score something nice in the same spot. I had my doubts, but I'm a lucky hunter and started digging there anyway. What do you know after about 5 minutes of digging the tip of a tooth appeared! It looked small at first, but as I used my fingers to push the clay off the blade it only got bigger and wider. Soon I had about 2 inches of blade sticking out of the clay with no root in sight. I continued to dig carefully until I could jiggle the tooth and with a gentle pull it came out and I discovered I had my first 4 inch plus Angy. It is actually over 4 and 1/4 inches long. I also spotted another tooth blade about 8 inches from where I pulled the Angy and proceeded to pull out a 4 and 1/4 inch Meg. Two nice big finds within 20 minutes of arrival. Another Lucky Day for me!!

A 4-1/4 inch Angy and a 4-1/4 inch Megalodon. Not bad for 20 minutes of digging!
