BIG scores at Lafarge today

I found it hard to fall asleep on Friday night because of my anticipation for the Lafarge trip. We've had so much rain lately that the mine would surely produce big. In our excitement to get to the new part, thA duDe and I headed straight down the first giant hill toward the other side. There is a big ditch at the bottom that is full of water and fine silt. I looked for a place to cross where my boots wouldn't sink, but thA duDe just took the plunge. He sunk DEEP, too. Past his knee. His boot filled with mud and water, and after I pulled him out and we continued on our way, I would hear tap…SLOSH…tap…SLOSH as he walked. I felt sorry for him, but it was funny. We walked and we dug, all day hoping for the big score, but it never really came. I found a few ok teeth, and duDe found a nice 2 incher with bite marks. T-Money tore it up, too. He found a couple sweet ones, including one perfect small one. I was actually there when he was digging it out. The guy who found the archaeocete in April was happy to find that his prize was still intact, and he was able to continue working on it. I heard he found a few more teeth and the skull. I think that brings the tooth total to 20. Everyone seemed to find something cool. Wait till you see what da f0ssZ found. He had the day of a lifetime at the mine!
