Short trip to Belgrade

Decided to make a short trip to Belgrade the other day after a few days rest from hunting up in MD last week. Ill be posting them a little later. We didn't do all that bad, well at least my wife didn't do that bad. She ended up getting real nice Nurse Shark. I'm still not a 100% sure of the exact kind but i will figure that out this week. She also found a couple Chubitensis or Angy's. Hard to tell because at Belgrade it has reworked Oligocene. The biggest one measures 2 3/4" and the smaller one measures a little over 1 1/2". Until next time....Good luck Hunting!!!!

The nurse shark tooth looks like the Nebrius teeth I have found at the Muddy Creek eocene site in VA. THose have been deemed Nebrius obliquus (formerly thielensis). I curious about the fang-like tooth to the right of the large barracuda tooth? Is that a fish tooth of some sort. I've seen and collected smaller versions of that tooth from MD and NC I believe. Also, do you know if a couple of the hemi's you have in your photo's are Hemiprisitis curvatis? Nice finds. Content Quality : 10 of 10
