Another fun day on the EdistoOnce we find a new spot, we can't leave it alone. We got up early today so we could have maximum bottom time. And once again, the weather was beautiful. Well, at least it was sunny. It was also dreadfully hot, but when you're in the water, that doesn't matter as much. So let's just say it was nice! The last two outings really tipped us off to what we could expect from this spot, so yesterday I went out and bought a boat so we could access other parts of the river not previously reachable on foot. And it paid off, too. We floated down river and found another nice spot where we could spend the whole day. Rocks everywhere! We couldn't even begin to hunt it out. Monday is a day off for me, so we're going back again, but this time, we're going to try to find more spots. The more you know, the better off you are! Today was a decent day fosslin, but better for thA duDe than for me. He ended up finding a 4 1/4" angustidens. NICE! I didn't do too badly. Besides for the obvious quantity of teeth, I found some quality, too. All along the top row of the photo are lamp teeth (perfect puny teeth). The second row are complete teeth. There's one really nice angy (left) and a nice retrofluxus (next to the nice angy). On the far left of the photo are a couple other noteworthy items. Directly left of the angy is a sawfish tooth - I guess it’s a tooth. Its one of the "structures" that line the outside of the fish's saw. The left of it are two whale teeth. The one on the far left is nice. Then below the whale teeth is a horse tooth.
