Back on land...

Well since my dive equipment was in the shop getting the free flow situation fixed I decided to go out and hunt on land today by surface collecting. I went to one of my spots where you can walk around and pick up teeth...there is rarely anything huge at this spot, but there are usually plenty of smaller teeth. I arrived with the hopes of finding something good since I haven't looked at this spot for some time. I picked up several teeth as soon as I got there, but most were in bad shape. Well as luck would have it I came across a nice hard to find tooth. A 1-3/16ths inch long Giant Thresher which only had half the root exposed. I forgot my camera so I didn't get a ground shot. These teeth are just so rare especially to find a nice one !
