Back to one of my favorite spots...Well today I thought I would visit one on my favorite spots after the storm we had yesterday. I first arrived and started to hunt. For about 45 minutes all I was finding was pieces of teeth and the ones that were whole had major flaws to them. Well I decided I was going to dig...I then realized I had forgotten my shovel..oh well I saw that the dirt was soft because of the rain and started pulling out weeds which had gripped the dirt because they had rooted deep in the soil. I grabbed this weed and a huge chunk of dirt came out. Well staring me in the face embedded in the embankment was a nice thresher tooth. It has been a while since I have found one of these rarities. It is in awesome shape and not a bad size at 1-5/16ths inches. Made my day !
