Huge Potential!

Tha duDe met me early this afternoon and for a change, we hit the Bell first. I love that place. Its fossil fuel! So we drove out to the new top secret spot as far as we could, and then we did the rest by bike. The roads were so muddy that we could barely pedal, but we were determined. We met a guy last week who said he found several megs out here, one over 6 inches. We wanted 6 inch megs, so we were willing to work, and work we did. It was about 50 degrees, rainy, windy, and basically miserable but all that was ignored. We were out for a score. We walked all over the area - it was an hour and a half through mud 8 inches deep before we finally reached the appointed area. There was a moat of sorts dug around the area, and this was where we thought we were going. We split up and headed off with visions of megs hanging out of the banks. There was great layer, but very few teeth. Plus on my side, the ditch was rather deep and there was actual sewage running through it. I dared not slip into that crud! Still I looked, and when I rounded the corner, I saw the promised land - and it was good. They were actively digging the area, and they had stopped right in the middle of the white layer. There are undoubtedly untold riches there somewhere. With all the rain, there were rocks EVERYWHERE! Unfortunately, there were also footprints everywhere. Timing is everything - 2 weeks earlier and we would not have been able to stop picking up big teeth. We cleaned up the leftoves here and then headed off towards the road back. Then, there was another area with beautiful brown and black rocks. We covered that whole area and found more stuff. Then there was an area with shells and phosphate. There was so much goodness that we couldn't believe it! Like I said, though, someone had already been here and found everything big. We were soaked, muddy, cold, and tired. Then it started to rain again. It was time to go. We WILL come back here after the next rain. Its a goldmine just waiting to be tapped.

There are three types of layer at the top secret spot, and its easy to tell which teeth came from which layer. First, there's a white layer. That's where all the white and bluish teeth came from. Then, there is a clay layer with brown rocks in it - that's where the brown teeth came from. Finally, there is a shelly layer with black phosphate rocks in it, and that's where the black teeth came from.
This is a decent tooth poking out of the brown layer.
