Best blowout tide ever!

This is my first post and I have been going to the bay for many years now.  I pretty much have been everywhere along the bay except Mataoka cabins and north, so i thought i would give it a whirl.  So i arrived at the clifs at 6:45 just as the sun was coming up two last saturday.  If you recall it was the first day in a while after that long hard freeze that it would be above freezing.  When i arrived, it was a great blowout tide! I was so pumped. Visibility in the water was the best ive seen in a long time as well!  I began heading north along the cliffs.  I found nothing much around the cabins area but the further north the better the finds, which is consistent with the way the strata runs...  I got a total of eight nice verts, a nice croc tooth, and lots of other nice bones and an ecphora(sp).  This was the first trip I have taken where i walked away with huge blisters on my feet and bad wind burn... i was more than equipt as well, must have been the luck of the draw.  Happy Hunting!
