Easter meg anyone?

Remember when you were a kid and grandpa and grandma would hide the eggs on easter sunday? I guess all that practice payed off if your a tooth hunter. Sometimes you just have to be creative on where you search....and how

It all started when I met a guy named Jim down in Aurora last trip. He lives in MD and said he wanted to do some tooth hunting. We met up in the Chesapeake beach area around 11:00am and drove to an undisclosed location on the cliffs After a 2mile walk we hit the good beach. 2 megs had already been found but the conditions seemed right. I spent my time picking up little teeth and nice hemi here and there. I noticed a group of 4 people about to leave so I walked up to them......then passed them......then bent down to pick up my PERFECT 1 9/16 meg. Just barely exposed in the sand..... So that was great, I found one!

About an hour later the tide was on its trek back in. I thought it might be a good idea to do some boulder hunting. About a good 60 seconds into it...."I SEE THE TIP" the second thing I did was run my finger up the blade. ITS SERRATED! Stuck in a huge boulder that's currently being covered by more and more water. I figured out the fastest and cleanest way to get Mr. Blue out was with the screw driver. A beauty 2 3/16. 100% perfect bourlette. A few dings in the crown. BUT one hell of a day. I havent had one this good in a long while.

I'm also including the picture of a perfect Thresher tooth today. It may not be Grandis but still nice enough to make it on the site.
