I love those cows!I had a feeling about this place. You know the kind of feeling that makes no sense but you just have to go with. This place gets hunted so hard that you almost never find much of anything at this time of year but I just had to try. The only one there when I arrived was a guy from NJ that had been scheduled to hunt PCS this weekend and had never been here before. As I passed by I gave him a few pointers and headed down the beach. I found an interesting little vert almost right away and then mostly small teeth til near the far end. Then I found a little honey hole. New theeth being washed up with every wave. First there was a small but complete lower Cow Shark tooth. Then a nice upper also complete. The teeth just kept coming! A few hours later I had 1 upper and 3 lower Cowshark teeth all with complete roots! I love Cow Shark teeth so I was in full gravy mode. Unfortunely the tide was getting too high to find much but just before I left there in the wash was a big tooth. I scooped it up to see it was a 1 11/16 Mako in primo condition. The walk out seems to take no time when My pocket is full of sweet teeth. Also found was a small Meg, several Porpoise teeth and a couple threshers.
