My first dive of 2003

Well, we finally got in our first dive of the year. I was thinking to myself, "Why haven't we gone before now?" That's easy, because the land sites are really churning out the goodies lately. Still though, diving is awesome so we hit the river. When we went out there, we really didn't know exactly where we were gonna go, so we looked for a new place up in the creeks. The spot has potential, but we didn't find anything there to make us want to stay for a second dive. The second spot was the good producer. We found almost all our stuff there, and every time we've gone there in the past, we've done well. Today was no exception. While all the shark teeth were pretty much trashed, I found one nice artifact - an indian blade. My first one! The vis wasn't as good as I thought it would be - we had about 3 to 6 inches. But the temperature was great - like 80 degrees. Its just fun to get in the water.
