School is out!

Now that this semester is finally over I have a little more time to go hunting. I’m in the process of getting recertified for diving just to be on the safe side because the last time I took a dive was about four years ago. I’ll be diving in the rivers this summer real soon.

For this post I went to two different places in the past week. The first spot I went to was a ditch where I’ve found whole 4”+ megs in the past digging there, but not this time. I really like the colors that this spot produces on the teeth though. The second spot I went to was the neighborhood ditch that we like to call the Big Ditch. I thought it would be a good idea to check it out because of the past rain. My forecast predictions were wrong this time.. haha. It didn’t rain enough and there was slime everywhere on the bottom. I figured walking around would be a waste of time and decided to dig instead. I didn’t stay to long and ended up finding a big beat up mangled meg and a descent angy to end the day.
