A good Echinocoys-day!Hi Folks,
This is also one of the hunt that I did during my last visit to Belgium and the Netherlands. This time Paul invited me to come and visit one of his favorite quarries in Belgium.
After introducing me to the quarry owner, we went in and started out on a small plateau wer Paul had hunted before. We found some Echinocorys and Paul also pointed one out in the wall, which I uncovered. The digging machine had pushed lots of material down the slopes, so we decided to take a look at the bottom. On our way over there we found some small echinoids, like Oolopygus, on the flint piles.
When we arrived down the slope soon some very nice Echinocorys turned up. We had a great day and after the hard work we decided to eat some Belgium potatoe-chips with lot of mayonese. Yes people Belgium is not so much known for its fossils but for its beer and extremely good potatoe-chips, hahaha.
